The CaptiarBio PCR workstation features a HEPA H14 filter, stainless steel work surface, and a UV light with a timer that provides the proper sterilization to protect your samples from contamination. Raising the sash automatically shuts off the UV lamp when the front shield is opened.
Add a carbon filter with the HEPA filter to guarantee that ultra clean air will flow into the enclosure.

  • UV light with reflective panels provide decontamination and easy visibility within the enclosure.

Modular filtration column / Air quality into the enclosure

  • HEPA H 14 filter : 99,995% filtration efficiency  for particles larger than 0.1 microns (according to the EN1822-1 standard, MPPS method).
  • Vertical laminar air flow entering into the enclosure avoiding any external contamination
  • Optional carbon filter can be added to protect handlings from VOCs present into the laboratory air

Working principle


bio working principle 1 - Filtration
The fan draws in air from the laboratory and passes it through a HEPA H14 filter, which is over 99.995% effective at trapping particles over 0.1 microns in size.


2 -Sample protection
The air that enters the enclosure is free from all outside contamination, creating an ultra-clean atmosphere in which to work protecting your samples from contamination.


3 - Central screen
The central screen located at the front of the device further protects substances being handled from any contamination given off by the user.


4 - Decontamination
A UV lamp allows the working environment to be decontaminated in order to prevent contamination of samples between PCR operations.




Flex Technology

The modular conception of our CaptairBio PCR workstations filtration column allows to perform handlings in a free of any external contamination and provides an ultra clean work atmosphere.
