Three units for unrivalled safety
of the operator, the procedures, and the environment.
A controlled design
for effective laboratory protection
Compliant with standard EN 12469:2000, the Solis Classic microbiological safety cabinet ensures triple protection: for the operator, the environment, and the samples handled. It features high-performance HEPA H14 filtration technology (99.995% MPPS according to EN 1822-1:2019), preventing any cross-contamination and ensuring clean air in the work area. Designed for simple, reliable, and ergonomic use, it combines filtration efficiency, enhanced safety, and easy maintenance.
High-efficiency filtration
Provides optimal protection with HEPA H14 filters (99.995% MPPS efficiency according to EN 1822-1:2019), ensuring purified air and no cross-contamination in the work chamber.
Active safety and intuitive interface
Monitor parameters in real time with a clear, comprehensive touch screen. Airflow alarm, personalized settings, and built-in applications for total control with ease.
Easy cleaning
Removable work surface and tilting front window for full access to the retention tank. A design made for quick, efficient maintenance and optimal decontamination.
Everyday comfort and ergonomics
10° inclined glass for a natural posture, optional armrests and footrests to reduce fatigue. Regulated airflow and LED lighting > 750 lux to work in optimal conditions.

PERFORMANCE
Exceptional technical performance for optimal working comfort.
The work area, swept by a laminar airflow, ensures clean air free from any particles that could contaminate the handled products. A very high-efficiency HEPA H14 filter removes particles before air is exhausted into the lab.
The MSC is equipped with dual ventilation, for both supply and exhaust, ensuring a stable and constant air barrier, regardless of filter clogging. Air enters through the MSC front window opening. All particles from the outside are drawn into the air barrier to avoid contaminating the handling. This airflow passes under the work surface then moves upward to the HEPA H14 filters.
The laminar airflow speed is 0.40 m/s. Part of the airflow is directed to the exhaust filter (about 30%) to be released into the laboratory. The other part of the flow (about 70%) passes through the supply filter to be then released into the handling chamber, thus creating a laminar flow. This class 100 – ISO 5 airflow ensures protection of the handling from airborne contaminants, in compliance with the European standard EN 12469-2000.
ERGONOMICS
Increase your laboratory’s productivity.
Microbiological safety cabinets are equipped with LED lighting strips, providing uniform illumination over the entire work surface. The intensity is adjustable via the touch screen.
SAFETY
High-efficiency filters for enhanced filtration.
Equipped with HEPA H14 filters for both supply and exhaust, dual EC-motor ventilation, and a powerful air barrier, Solis microbiological safety cabinets provide a protected workspace for safe handling.
Erlab HEPA H14 filters meet current efficiency standards (99.995% MPPS according to EN1822-1) and create a class 3 ISO working environment.
Air is blown into the work area through a HEPA H14 absolute filter at 0.40 m/s across the entire manipulation area, in accordance with ISO 14644 standard.

THE COMPLEMENTARY RANGE
Erlab offers additional filtration to enhance biological or chemical protection
ADDITIONAL HEPA FILTER
At the exhaust When handling BK-type mycobacteria. Possible connection to the building’s exhaust system.
Under the work surface For optimal biological protection. Possible connection to the building’s exhaust system.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER
At the exhaust When handling chemical products used in small quantities. Caution: this setup causes recirculation of chemicals in the work area which could contaminate the current manipulation.
Under the work surface Highly recommended when handling CMRs (Carcinogens, Mutagens, Reproductive toxins). This configuration prevents recirculation of chemicals in the work area.
