Bin.Box biological enclosures are class 2 laminar flow hoods specially designed to integrate optical equipment such as microscopes, binoculars and stereo microscopes, while providing users with absolute biological safety against the risk of airborne contamination when handling micro-organisms and pathogens.

The Bin.Box front window is fitted with a bellows connection that perfectly fit the binoculars.

PERFORMANCE

Enhanced filtration efficiency thanks to hepa filters.

Designed based on a safety cabinet, Bin.Box hoods feature HEPA H14 filtration. The air flow filter removes particles from the ambient air before blowing into the workspace (99.995% MPPS in accordance with standard EN 1822-1:2019), protecting the samples handled against the risk of cross contamination. The extraction filter removes particles before extraction into the laboratory. The laminar airflow velocity is 0.35 m/s ± 20% at any point on the work surface. Handling is protected under ISO class 5, in accordance with standard NF EN ISO 14644-1:2015.

SAFETY

Absolute biological safety against airborne contamination risks.

High-efficiency HEPA filtration technology and the strong air barrier on the front of the device guarantee absolute protection for the operator, the samples handled and the environment.

In addition, the device is equipped with a unique, highly efficient ventilation system: filtered air ventilation in the workspace and a second total extraction ventilation system with no air recirculation, creating a very powerful air barrier for maximum operator safety.
